Help Fund ‘God’s Plan’

My Friends,

It is with great pleasure that I tell you the end is in sight.

Though I will not announce another release date until the record is complete, this brand new album is almost there.

I really feel compelled to tell you that God is truly using me in mind-blowing ways with this new music.

Despite the fact it’s release date has been pushed back several times, I promise you it was for the best.

God has a purpose for everything. I firmly believe this. He can make good of anything and everything.

Though it was in my plans, I do not think he wanted this album released last year. I know that now.

I simply wasn’t ready for what amazing things and attention this music could possibly bring.

However, today I stand here rejuvenated and ready to accept whatever God’s plans are for my life. Ironic, but I really feel like in this moment, I have only recently just completely submitted myself to whatever will he has for me.

What am I saying? In the past year, I recently enrolled in graduate school at Concordia where I am a full-time student.

I am currently studying Kinesiology & Physical Education. My two other passions outside of music. Health & Fitness, sports and kiddos.

No, it is not easy balancing everything from school, a career in music and everything else life can throw my way – but I try to do it all with a smile on my face.

As you could possibly imagine, it is a very busy lifestyle. Most of my free time is filled with busy work.

I am writing this blog to give each and everyone of you a glimpse into this life and the ultimate mission at hand.

I do not know what God has in store for me and this music thing. By attending graduate school, it is by no means an example of me hitting the eject switch on my music career.

If I am being brutally honest, I feel more called to write music right now that I ever have. It just feels right.

Going back to school is simply allowing my God to open whatever doors and do whatever he wants with the personality, talents and skills he had so blessed me with.

It is becoming more and more clear to me everyday that God has blessed me in a very, very unique way.

I am fortunate to have the ability to do many things quite well. A blessing for obvious reasons, but a curse as well because it is extremely time consuming and hard to focus in on one thing like many people can do.

Regardless, I soldier on ready and willing to use my life to make an impact on this generation.

The purpose of this letter is to invite each and everyone of you to join in.

How? I will be the first to tell you that I am by no means wealthy. At this point in my life, I attend school full-time, live at home with my amazingly supportive father and basically live off of student loans which will need to be paid back at some point.

The bottom line is there is very little money there for music promotion. I have invested most of my money into home studio & dj equipment. As you can imagine, it has not been cheap.

Over the next month, as I complete this record called ‘God’s Plan’, I will be raising money to have the album pressed up in CD format. Something I have not done for some time with my albums, simply because of the cost.

I will be looking to raise approximately $1400 dollars. The majority of this money, $1200 will go to having professional Compact Discs made, and the remainder will go to releasing the album through all online stores like iTunes.

Yes, it is alot of money. Yes, that is how much things like that cost. Yes, I am looking for your help. Yes, I need your help to make it happen at this point in my life. No, I am not ashamed of this. In fact, I am proud.

I enjoy letting my friends take part in everything about this mission and this new me. Today, it is not about me – it’s about you. I look to make you all extremely proud.
