A: For awhile it was. I am now KMB, the initials for Kevan Michael Bauman
A: It was time. God called me to go a different way with my music and I had to listen.
A: I don’t really believe in specific genres, but yes.
A: ‘KMB’ is obviously my initials – Kevan Michael Bauman. ‘CDB’ is the initials of my twin brother – Carsten David Bauman. I am very transparent about his story. He passed away at 7 months of age after an unsuccessful surgery to repair his heart. Losing him at a very young age has had a tremendous impact on my life. For some reason, God left me here and chose to take him home. ‘KMBCDB’ together is our initials combined. The call to live my life big enough for the both of us weighs on me heavily. When people see me, they deserve to know his story. Putting his initials alongside mine serves as a constant reminder of the responsibility I have in this world to do great things for the both of us in God’s name.

A: Not yet. I do everything from music production to website development myself.
